On most forums I use - anytime I post a topic or a reply I am automatically subscribed to that thread and get e-mailed anytime there is an update - can't seem to find this in my User CP - am I missing something?

How many replies typically come up in those forums? A few threads here have gone over a 1,000 replies - but we won't talk about those

Under Control Panel/Board Preferences/Edit Posting Defaults, there's a button for "Notify me upon replies by default". Is that what you're looking for?
