Huron/Apostles Conditions?

Post by Grimpeur »

Has anyone been up to Huron or Winfield lately? How's the road right now; can you get to Winfield? To the 4WD trailhead?

Been there on November 22nd, just 1 week after the arctic blast. We reached Winfield easily but had to leave the car just after, too much snow and very slippery.

We started "snowshoeing" 1.7 miles from the trailhead.
