I'd like to know about this route also! Anyone who drives 285 regularly can get an eye on the east ridge?
Most winters, you can't get anywhere near the TH.

Here are a couple trip reports that provide some description of the East Ridge:

Sound like most people park at the 250/252 junction, which adds about 6 miles (roundtrip) and 1000'.

I'm hoping to give it a go on Monday. Also interested in current conditions.
