i think the other dudes covered it pretty well...our group yesterday ended up stopping at 13000'ish since it was getting warm and we werent moving fast enough. the lower bowl was AWESOME...really really fun turns. the trees were nice, but with the heat yesterday they were very gloppy. we managed to ride into a creek, getting stuck on the bank for a nice wallow. All in all though, it was definitely the most fun ive had on a 14er.

great meeting you guys yesterday jordan andy will + mongoose

Did you guys use snowshoes on the way up yesterday?

3 of us skinned, 1 used snowshoes...the snow seemed pretty well packed down in the morning on the way up...id think snowshoes would be a good call if you are hiking

You could do the entire route in microspikes but I feel snowshoes would be worth the effort, especially when things start warming up.
