Here's a youtube video Fritz made of our descent, does a good job of showing what the conditions were like. Thanks to everyone for a great trip (regardless of not summiting) and thanks to those who broke trail! I think we made the right decision in turning around where we did.

Good decision making! That slide in your third photo looks spooky, Carl. Uncompahgre looks stacked though, so I have no doubt you'll get it in the near future.
