mt. princeton conditions

Has anyone been up to do Mt. Princeton lately? Need snowshoes for the approach? How are avy conditions on getting to the east ridge?

Drove by Princeton yesterday. East Ridge is fairly dry. I'd probably abandon snowshoes at treeline.

They went up Sat - I got to 200 ft vert short of the Tigger Princeton Saddle yesterday. We could have made the summit but opted to turn back so we wouldn't hike after dark. Didn't use snowshoes at all as the trail was well packed up to 12,000 feet or so (the knoll in the TR).

We booted it from the knoll at 12k to the summit -- so you should be good to go.
