Anyone planning on climbing this weekend?

Post by LTbear »

I haven't been around in a while; needed the break over Christmas and went through a bit of a family crisis lately. It'd be nice to get up in the mountains, though it seems there's a chance of snow this weekend. Anyone planning on doing any climbs on Saturday?

I'm open for suggestions though I would prefer something on the lower end of the exposure scale.

I've been mulling Sniktau this Saturday, also, but I'm a winter wind weenie  , so haven't yet committed due to the unsettled weather.
I may be up for joining you depending on how the conditions shake out.
What time were you thinking of starting?
The older you get, the better you get, unless you're a banana.

Here is the wx forecast for Torrey's:
Saturday: A 40 percent chance of snow showers, mainly after 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 18. West wind between 13 and 16 mph.

When you think about it, that's a pretty mild winter wind. So, if you bring a shell jacket & shell pants to go over your other layers to block the wind, you should be fine. It's a short hike.

I'm thinking being at Loveland Pass at 8am.
