En route to Bierstadt, through the willows, taken with a Kodak disposable. Enjoy!

Damn, I should have taken some photos of my postholes last weekend in upper Missouri Gulch.

Sentinel Point, March 25, 2006. We were up to our armpits in it and this guy refused to take his turn breaking trail.
He may still be up there...

Doug said you were tough on your partners, but this seems a bit excessive. :D
There is a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot.

Wow, crazy photos!

But they don't compare to this epic day of postholing (don't worry, I made it out OK):

lmao, some great pics , reminds me of Hermans Gulch trail head last week, no pics as I was solo (and forgot my camera) but it's a postholing nightmare up there even with snow shoes.

Here it is.. this is what happens when a fatman tries to snowshoe with a heavy pack in what amounts to slush. Basically, with a full pack, including skis, I was in post-holy he## on the Missouri Gulch trail. And yes, I was indeed wearing snowshoes (in a couple of not-even-funny-now incidents, I had to dig around in the snow for lost snowshoes.

Very interesting POV shot! =D>
Luke 1:30 The angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary; for you have found favor with God. 31 "And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name Him Jesus.

34 Mary said to the angel, "How can this be, since I am a virgin ?"

37 "For nothing will be impossible with God."

+1 Good thing you had a Nalgene on your waist -- looks like it provided some flotation. :D

Not really a posthole, because it was a man made booby trap, but he was crotch deep on just one leg.

"The Cre" at Blanca Memorial Day 2007

This is my brother in law on Memorial Day 2007 in an attempt to climb Blanca. He and my wife thought it wasn't necessary to bring the snowshoes that we rented from REI. :D Won't make that mistake again!
