I wish I could catch someone doing something like that so I could blow up on them. :-"

And, as a reminder: Kansas leads the all-time series, 172-95.
I am unable to walk away from the mountain without climbing it. An unclimbed mountain tugs at my consciousness with the eternal weight of time itself. Until I've pressed my face into it's alpine winds, hugged it's ancient granite walls, and put it's weathered summit beneath my heal I'm unable to resist it's attraction.Knowing nature gives the mountain more time than she gives us adds urgency to the obsession. As has been said before; the mountain doesn't care.

It can wait forever. I cannot.

Ok, guilty. Instead I'll mock KU for hiring coaches who physically and verbally abuse their players (same photo not inserted to eliminate redundancy)

Since he mocks his players who have alcoholic fathers (http://deadspin.com/5408413/your-daily-mark-mangino-harassment-update) ... I don't feel guilty for mocking him for being fat.

Not to disrupt your narrative with the inconvenient wrinkle of reality, but his behavior is precisely why he was chased out of Kansas: http://www.nytimes.com/2009/12/04/sports/ncaabasketball/04kansas.html?_r=0

Blix, you do realize you left out two states, right? And many do not have the right background (e.g. vanity text on standard plate) . Does this speak to the research skill of MU?

Hmm... How does MU respond to having one of their Ph.D.'s turn out to be Chemical Sally?

No data fabrication required.

BTW, what was the last BCS bowl MU played in? :-k Or the last time MU played in the NCAA Final Four? :-k (Note Colorado already has a couple times.)
Still be bitter about blowing a 19-point lead last we played?

You're right, poor word choice! I should have said that the beautiful license plates suggest strong anti-KU sentiment exists in an overwhelming majority of states. And Canada.

Diving into industry connections and influence on research, education, and policy in so many areas at so many institutions is way too depressing. And off-topic.

To my fellow Jayhawkers,

Don't stoop to the level of the slavers over at Missouri. They are struggling for attention at the bottom of the SEC.

Additionally, I love college sports rivalry "debate" as much as the next guy, but this is a mountaineering forum. If the hat hasn't been claimed by now, this thread should probably stop because it's careening off-route.
