Lost black mittens on James Pk

Postby IHikeLikeAGirl » Mon Apr 01, 2013 10:25 am

Lost on the descent between ~1/4 mi from the summit and the flats, probably near the first high point, closest to the flats.

If found, you don't need to mail them back to me (although I'd happily pay for the postage and your time and effort), but if you could pack them out and dispose of them properly, I'd appreciate it.

Been on many adventures together...I'm gonna miss that old, worn out, pair. Maybe they'll provide some nice bedding for a marmot or pica.

From the looks of the wind that day, I suspect your mittens are now in Utah. I will look for them during my trip there in a couple weeks.

Thank you my dear!

I had them securely tied to my pack, as I've done many times before...have no idea how they got loose, but yes, that wind was pretty sneaky.

I'll buy you a gluten free pizza and some gluten free beers, if you find them!

P.S. let me know when you go, I'd like to practice more self arrest, head down stuff. :)
