Snowshoe stash removed

Postby Cool Hand Luke » Mon May 28, 2012 8:20 pm

I know this is a long shot, but...

My MSR Evo Ascent snowshoes were stashed at the intersection of 437 and 437C off of highway 12 on 5/25 and 5/26. When I returned the snowshoes were gone, but there were Jeep tracks up the road. I stashed them right by the sign because I thought it would be dark and I would be spent upon returning.

Please let me know if you removed the snowshoes from this area! On a side note congrats to the driver for making it through the last few snowbanks, I was impressed.

I have a friend who found a pair of snowshoes recently, where he seemed convinced that they were lost and not stashed (his quote, not mine), but I would be happy to double check the details with him. Where was this near (I am at work and can't really dig deep into a search of forest service roads)?
