Attempt #3: Oxford 6/21/2007

Postby Aspen Summit » Fri Jun 08, 2007 12:19 am

This will be attempt #3 up Oxford from the Missouri Gulch TH. I hope the wind will die down by the time I land. Court will be out of session and Wooo Hoooooooooo I'm flying Home for some mountain fun!
I didn't appreciate the peaks till I'm faaaaaaar from them. *sighs*

I know it's a Thursday ascent, but if anyone wants to come along it'll be GREAT! :D I don't want to be stalked by a pika and feel freaked out. I plan to head out around 4:30am or 5 am (latest).

Look forward to hearing the trip report! Have a great climb, it is a good time to leave the east coast while the humidity is rising!

I would love to, but, i already got the hall pass to do Quandry on the 24th. I need to use my hall passes strategically so the wife thinks she's in control of it (she really is, I am just talking tough). I think I have already laid the groundwork for an extended halll pass for August for Handies, Redcolud and Sunshine. I have to be a very good boy between now and then though!

I think I've to ask someone for a hall pass too to do Antero with Piker on the 23rd. So in that sense, we're in the same boat, but the issuer of my hall pass isn't ring-permanent....yet.
