Weminuche Wilderness, Jumper Lake via 522

Postby SurvivalTexas » Wed Apr 17, 2013 5:07 pm

Planning a trip to the Weminuche in early July. Identified Jumper Lake as a possible destination. A ranger advised we could access via road 522 1f with a 2 wd truck to within perhaps 2.5 miles of the lake.

I can find very little information or pictures on jumper and question the road condition of 522

Anyone have info to share?

Thank you!

I have taken it (Fern Creek Road) off 149 to the TH to hike up to the Continental Divide Trail (past Ruby & Trout Lakes) a couple times over the past 5 years. The road was in fair to good condition both times. SJ Ron
