Saying Hi

Postby Jeremy414 » Sun Feb 06, 2011 1:02 pm

This is my first post so I wanted to introduce myself. I am Jeremy, I'm 28. Married to my dream girl and we have a beautiful 3 month old daughter. I was born a Coloradan and will die one. I heave never hiked any 14ers.... yet. I plan on doing Pikes Peak this year. Just recently made my first journey up the Manitou Incline. I also enjoying mountain biking. I look forward to conversing with all of you and hopefully making some new hiking friends :D

Hi Jeremy. Welcome to what will most likely be a 24/7/365 addiction to 14ers.com. The first step is admitting you have a problem.

My name is Dan and I'm a 14ers.com-aholoic.
Save a place for me up in the high country.
There's still space to breathe.

Ditto what Dan said - My name is Jay and I am a 14ers.com-aholic also. It has been 4 days since I climbed my last 14er. There is a 58 step program associated with 14ers-anonymous but I have a feeling that completing all 58 steps just makes it worse... :D

Welcome. I agree with all of the above replies. P.S.- there is no cure.
I was diagnosed with MS (Multiple Sclerosis) in 2002. My main symptom is optic neuritis in both eyes. Other symptoms that come and go are - numb feet, numbness and/or stinging sensations in both thighs, dizziness, etc. Nothing major, I'm very thankfull that I can still lead a pretty normal life, and of course hike and climb!

Hello Jeremy,
The greatest moments I have, are with my wife and kids. My daughter, 3, just started snowshoeing and loves it! Luckily her 6 year old brother is a great instructor!, and we have St. Mary's Glacier as our backyard. Good luck to you and your family on your endeavors!
