Outstanding accomplishment Alan! I've read the books on K2, which all left me stunned. So with this, I'm beyond joyed to see you summit and make it down safe and sound. Glad to know you via 14ers and YouTube. An inspiration and genuine good guy fighting for a great cause. Cheers!

Way to go Alan! I really enjoyed following your progress and much respect your efforts against Alzheimer's.

"There have been joys too great to describe in words, and there have been griefs upon which I cannot dare to dwell; and with those in mind I say, 'Climb if you will, but remember that courage and strength are nought without prudence, and that a momentary negligence may destroy the happiness of a lifetime. Do nothing in haste, look well to each step, and from the beginning think what may be the end.'" - Edward Whymper

Great job Alan! Now you only have to repeat it twice to catch up with The Great Camilo.
Seriously though, truly impressive! And for a worthy cause to boot. =D>

Awesome! Congrats on standing on the summit of one of the most dangerous peaks on the planet and making it down. Huge accomplishment! =D>

Wicked solid effort dude. I'm not even sure what that would all be like, I'm not sure I can imagine, but I am grateful that there are people like you who chase their dreams and make the world a better place.
