Kid's Mountaineering Jacket

Post by higgy »

I was needing a recommendation for a warm puffy for my son. He is 11 and will be climbing Kilimajaro with me this summer. Most of the guide services recommend something along the line of the MH Chillwave. Most of the things I've seen online for kids are much lighter in weight. SAC has ben running the MH Hunker Down jacket, but will that be too light? If there are no great options I may have to buy him a women's XS and try not to let him find out.
