Snow pack line charts

Postby Dave B » Thu Nov 07, 2013 4:45 am

Could some one please give me the link to the NRCS page where you can actually produce these line graphs instead of downloading a cached version? I know Bill has linked to the cached graph under the weather tab above, but I remember being able to produce a couple different graphs from this website including line graphs for individual basins (as opposed to the whole state) and stacked bar graphs by month.

I somehow stumbled on it last year but it appears the bookmark didn't survive the transition to my new computer.

Also, any idea of when these line graphs should get updated for this year? CAIC said snowfall is above average right now, I was curious to see some numbers on it.

EDIT: I tried attaching a version of the graph for reference but there seems to be a problem linking to an ftp image on the NRCS site. Here's the link from above:

I am unable to walk away from the mountain without climbing it. An unclimbed mountain tugs at my consciousness with the eternal weight of time itself. Until I've pressed my face into it's alpine winds, hugged it's ancient granite walls, and put it's weathered summit beneath my heal I'm unable to resist it's attraction.Knowing nature gives the mountain more time than she gives us adds urgency to the obsession. As has been said before; the mountain doesn't care.

It can wait forever. I cannot.

Since you can never have to many snow depth related links, here's another one I like.

I haven't been able to get those to work anymore either. Government websites are really struggling.
