Thanks guys! I appreciate all the kind comments. I have been diligently working on my last trip report/blog post but it will take a while longer to sort through over 200 photos and 40 minutes of HD video.

We reached the summit of Capitol Peak on Thursday 9/5 at 9:20 AM. The weather was absolutely perfect and the views were incredible. It was a nice mountain to finish on! And I know the rules, so here are pics:

First off, I'd like to thank Scott Lowery aka Chaos Penumbra. Scott and I have climbed 49 / 58 14ers together. We've kept each other safe and motivated the last 3 years to get these things done.
Image

Thanks to my other climbing partners; Matt Jerousek (traverse master!) who came with us on 2 great traverses.

Rob "Iron Man" Ladewig, who is North of 60 and yet still finds time to go to Hawaii every year to compete, and guide the "kids" he works with to the 14er summits. He finished the 14ers before I was in middle school. He organizes rafting trips, skiing trips, and 14er trips every year to make sure our office doesn't spend every living minute inside.

Shout outs to other climbing partners Daniel Chapman, who climbed Longs with me in 2009, Joey Reim, Jeff Gerlach, Sarah Nguyen, and many others.

Thanks to Matt Payne and Vicki (Mtgirl) for chatting with me frequently in PMs, providing advice and support. And of course, thanks to Bill Middlebrook for such excellent route information on 14ers.com

Thanks to my parents who took me on hundreds of camping trips and hikes when I was a kid. And it was great to take them on a 14er once!
Image

And thanks to my wife for not killing me for being gone so many weekends the last 3 years!

(I probably lose points for making this post so long)
ETA: Thanks to JIM DAVIES for creating this thread and also purchasing my car some 3 years ago!

Congrats Dan! 58 is "kind of a big deal"!

Nice work to wait until response #30 to thank all the friends, relatives, wife and child! =D>

14er Finisher threads will soon be rated by their acceptance posts...kind of like the Oscar speeches. Picture of wife and child always gets high positive viewer response and boosts the ratings! Well done!

Shameless bump.

Oh BTW here is my TRIP REPORT that I just finished. Between this, the photo editing, and the blog post, it only took me about 8 hours!
