Ahhh, the annual day that I realize I spent way too much money on gear last year.

Thanks to the worst year of my life and plenty of expenses from such (rolled truck, blown truck bearings, house flood + remodel, driving W coast to E coast to S border, etc etc)........ $462!

Good thing I have a list of fun things to buy! Starting today. Need the Wyoming Topo! for the past weekends ski trip! \:D/ :-D Plus gotta prepare for return trips

I talked to a salesman yesterday, and he said he thought the 20% off starts on the 22nd.

I didn't pay MSRP + tax for any outdoor gear this year, so $0.00. \:D/

Anybody know if you can use the 20% for skis or dynafits? I am guessing the 20% is only available for Nalgenes and North Face fleeces...

Typically skis, boots, and bindings are excluded. Here's the normal exclusion list:

Offer not valid on items, REI Adventures or REI Outdoor School.
Offer not valid for sale or clearance items (prices ending in $._3 or $._9).
REI membership is required at checkout. Not a member? You can join for a one-time $20 fee during checkout.
Offer not valid on special orders, package discounts, prior purchases, REI gift cards, REI e-gift cards, passes and tickets, gift boxes, memberships, shop services, rentals.
Offer valid on Novara bicycles only; all other brands are excluded.
Offer not valid on hard-shell boats.
Offer not valid on any item with GPS technology, phones, or personal locator beacons.
Offer not valid on skis, boots or bindings; snowboards, boots or bindings.

$11.18... better than a sharp stick in the eye, I suppose.
Actually, it's great because everything I bought there last year was with gift cards, so I didn't have to spend anything to get it! \:D/
