I'm grateful for my wife and family and friends, and to God for the gifts I've been given, a brain and body that still function at a slightly above average capactiy.

Thankful for two beautiful daughters.
My amazing wife who has learned to deal with my hobby. Thankful for a book I read in 1962 about Sir Edmund and Tenzing Norgay. Thankful to live in a place where exploration adds so much to life.

I'm thankful for the fact that in a few weeks, A-Basin might have enough runs open for me to decide to go skiing for the first time in a few years ( ).

I'm also thankful for good coffee, good beer, good liqueurs, good whiskys, and

I'm thankful that in 2005 I got the nerve to pack up and move to Colorado without knowing anyone-and never having been here before--for the chance to make a living out of helping people and for the crazy coworkers who keep me laughing-for climbing my first 14er at the age of 39 and for the gift of good health that makes me believe I will do this until I'm 100---and most of all for 13er's!!!!!--because sometimes you need the solitude over the altitude!!!

Today I'm thankful for George Carlin, and Freddie Mercury, and David Bowie, and Kurt Vonnegut, and mostly Frank Zappa, because I've been listening to him all morning and still can't believe how amazing he is.

I'm also thankful that the weather looks SO FREAKING STELLAR FOR THE UPCOMING FOUR-DAY WEEKEND that I'm having trouble deciding between fifteen different peaks that I want to do!

And it's coming... oh, it's coming... it's a short work week and there's just one more day left for planning - ack!

Haha, I like this one too; the kid on the right is just a little too short to put their elbow up on the seat back, but the intention is there. Super Cool 8)

Sarcasm or not, it's not even funny to post something like this. Not at this time. Reported.

After many years of multi-annual I-80 road trips and the persistent longing to relocate out West, I'm so very thankful that the opportunity to move finally came this summer.

I guess the usual:

Every day really is a gift (Today is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it - Psalm 118:24)
A loving saviour (John 3:16)
So far pretty good health
A good wife
Extended family
Employment

Being able to take a walk in the woods every lunch hour has been particulary nice.

Happy Thanksgiving to all !
I look up to the mountains - does my help come from there? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth! Psalm 121:1-2
