I'm up in Breck and they got at least a foot last night. Enjoy the final day.

Deepest overnight snowfall for many of the i70 resorts and specially Summit Co. in the past 2 ski seasons. And on the last day of the season for many. I and a lot of people were loosing faith that awesome, generalized, heavy and consistent snowfall was possible again for summit co. This changes the game a bit for a lot of hiking areas this spring.

Walked out the hotel door to 12 beautiful new fresh inches this morning here in Breckenridge

I was really hoping to sleep in this morning. Imagine my dismay when I woke up at 1:30am and looked at the Loveland snow stake on my phone, and then again at 6am when none of the numbers were visible.

Hudge overnight snow and zero traffic despite being at Floyd Hill at 7:45 this morning. Skied until about noon, when everything was fully tracked and the winds went in to overdrive.

Trying to decide between LL, WP or AB for tomorrow...I think LL got the most today and with a few overnight inches it may freshen up nicely. Thoughts from those who were out there?

But you didn't get to slay it. :(
How long after arriving at someone's house is it appropriate to ask for the WiFi password?

the skiing is probably the best i've seen it this season. Consistent dumps every other day and much more on the way this week. We're actually still growing the snowpack, woot!

Might be a good day to skin up after work, 6" in town and still dumping. The mountain closed yesterday with about a foot of new and it was skiing really well. Big change from closing day last year, despite the fact that we don't have that much more total snowfall for the season. Its been good to get it late, it will really help with fire season and our water supply 8)

To answer the original question, it's finally here.
So pleas'd at first the towering Alps we try,
Mount o'er the vales, and seem to tread the sky,
Th' increasing prospects tire our wand'ring eyes,
Hills peep o'er hills, and Alps on Alps arise!

Here in Estes, we got SLAMMED! There was just shy of 2 feet on the back deck. Same thing at the hotel down by the lake.
I can't even imagine what the park got...and it's not done! They're forecasting an additional 4"-8" tonight after 9:00pm and continue into
tomorrow.
And it's not even that cold out!
