I just met you, and this is crazy, but here's my number, call me YES.

Commitment, people.
I'll be damned if I feel like I will ever know anything, but if we don't keep moving on that last hill, we'll never know what's on the other side.

Sarcasm or not, it's not even funny to post something like this. Not at this time. Reported.

If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?
- A mountain is not a checkbox to be ticked
- Alpinism and mountaineering are not restricted to 14,000 foot mountains
- Judgment and experience are the two most important pieces of gear you own
- Being honest to yourself and others about your abilities is a characteristic of experienced climbers
- Courage cannot be bought at REI or carried with you in your rucksack

If I fall in the forest, will the trees laugh?
Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing.

If we can all agree that a bear does indeed sh*t in the woods, should this bear dispose of this waste in a 6-8" deep cathole at least 200 ft. from any water, trail or campsite?
