Nice.
A quick 200 votes this morning since I sent out the reminder email. I hope we can get to 1,000 by lunch!

Voting ends on the 19th so let's keep this going... friends, family, co-workers... :-D

Hey, if we win $50,000 or more in the Chase Giving program, I'll run a 1-day sale on 14ers.com cotton t-shirts for $3 each. I think we would just need to be in 45th or 46th place to do that. Certainly possible since we're already in 50th.

Seriously

Can you vote once total or once per day? I should be able to get some of my family to vote as well.

I just spammed TGR also. I'm going straight to hell for this one.

Once, but you get an extra vote if you share the link after you vote and someone votes using your link. I think the extra vote has to be for a different charity (pick one way below CFI in the voting! :) ) and then you get yet another vote which you can put towards CFI. Then you've exhausted your voting options.

Any way you look at it, sharing the link and encouraging your friends to vote is certainly for a good cause and could get a lot of $$ for CFI

Also if you're a chase customer log in through your chase account and I think you can vote again outside of your facebook votes.

So we get 2 votes (plus the ability to "earn" more), that have to go to different charities.

What else is good? Airlifting puppies out of Afghanistan does not seem like the best use of funds.

EDIT: to have the greatest voting power, it's best to pick your votes as charities that do not directly compete, i.e., are widely separated in vote tallies. Otherwise you're risking moving up one charity past another. And to have the greatest voting power, charities with low vote counts or that are closer to moving up/down a spot are better.

Clarification on my previous post regarding number of votes per person:

You can use your "bonus" vote for one of the two charities that received your initial votes. Thus, you can vote once for CFI, and then again for CFI with your bonus vote.

Reportedly Chase customers can: 1) vote once for CFI by logging in at http://www.chasegiving.com, 2) vote once for CFI on Facebook, and 3) vote again using the bonus vote if they share the link and get the extra vote. That would be voting three times for CFI…legally!
