Not sure if I'll do more 14ers. The trip reports are too tiring.

Only got down to -22 last night, but more importantly I'm pretty sure it was colder in Woodland Park last night than it was in Craig. Hah, beat you Scott! :-D

-22 was the coldest temperature I ever saw when I lived in Woodland Park. That was probably 15 or 16 years ago.

I think this was the lowest temp during the coldest day of the week.

So very, very close, but no cigar. Craig was officially -23F last night (see the 6 hour mins). I think only -22F after midnight though, so -22F will be the low for today.

I bet several places were colder than Craig last night though. It was warmer here because it got cloudy and with some light snow.

Anyway, I'm leaving for the tropics tomorrow and the current heat index in Port of Spain is 98F right now.

Safe Journeys, happy holidays Scott and family.
Assume you will be climbing something?

Thanks. We're actually ditching the kids this time (celebrating our 20th anniversary now even though it was in August).

Yes. Cerro Aripo, Bleu Mountain, Pigeon Peak, and Man of War.

The biggest attraction though is the wildlife, which is why my wife picked it. She wants to see the Red Howler monkeys, birdlife, etc.

We'll be doing some caving and canyoneering as well.
