I'm day-trippin' in my 2wd Honda, preferably to a mountain trailhead which goes either up or down... preferably both.

Accomplishments:

Keeping my Honda for the past 254K miles. Oh wait, you mean mountain accomplishments. Not dying on Mt. Sneffels was my greatest accomplishment; stupid falling rocks.

Goals:

go up high on mountains. shower/nap (optional). drink beer.

there is no goal of which mountain to climb, how many feet to ascend, or time goals. i'm just in this to have fun; if/when it isn't fun any longer, i'll stop.

My Gear List:

backpack with honey and other stuff in it. clothes to keep me warm. when i get hot, i take some off. when i get cold, i put more on. gun so if i get stranded overnight i can find a bear (that's why i bring the honey, to attract mr. bear) and use his fur to keep me warm. i wouldn't shoot the bear, i'd just put the gun to his head and demand he shave his fur and give it to me. my midget friend does this with marmots and it works every time.
