Pictures from our ski trip of Wetterhorn in early April. We made good time to the ridge, then it went really slow due to high wind, scrambling and post-holing. The East Face seemed a bit saturated and so we elected to ski off the Southwest side into the South Fork of Matterhorn creek only to get cliffed out and had to climb ~800' back up to the ridge. We ended up abandoning the snowmobile within 5 miles in after getting stuck 6 times in a 1/4 mile. Went back in Sunday morning to retrieve. Lesson, no more touring sleds.
