 Peak 6 Bowl - S and K Chutes

The time is upon us. Gotta get it done. I’ve been training hard all winter and now it must get finished. I have 2 months to finish all the lines for my book. Some are new routes to me others like this day are repeats but need to get done for better photos or just photos of lines I didn’t ski with a camera in the 1st place. The plan was to head up Imperial Chair then out the high gate, ascend “6 1/2 Pk” then ski 6 Bowl. Well when we got to 6 Chair it was on wind hold, not what we were hoping for. We cruised over ot the TBar and headed for the Ore Bucket Gate. This would add about an hour to our time, with the Lift ride out, the t-bar and the extra skinning. We made decent time to the top of Peak 6 and Nate set up for a ski. I set up for pictures to get the shot. Nate skied it and booted back out. Back at Peak 6 we headed down to The stem of K Chute. It was a little wind effected at the top but bonding was good and we leapfrogged down the line taking pics and skiing great snow. We were both surprised at how good it was, we had been expecting it to be a skittering kind of day what with all the wind of late. It ended up being a mix of nice soft pow on the skiers left and corn on the skiers right.... more pics and words at
