Congrats!     12/29/2010 19:01
Way to go on getting a long winter summit. Kiefer looks happy standing on the very top of that summit! Nice pictures documenting it all. Looks like a very rewarding day....for all 4 of you up there.

I'm confused...     05/02/2011 14:23
you're not on Dynafits and Kiefer didn't even bring the AT setup? Worried about destroying the good boards? Strong one-day climb nonetheless. Looks like good times were had all around.

Thanks for this report and the pics!     12/29/2010 23:12
Several of those shots are are spectacular! 8)

I hope I can get views like that when I go for my 1st winter 14er in Feb! (Nice work!)

Nice work, gentlemen...     12/30/2010 01:28
Tis the season for calendar winter booty. Thanks for taking the time to put this together. You have a way of making this peak seem possible as a winter day trip.

Is there anything more peaceful than a nighttime deproach? I always get the feeling I'm the last person on Earth. Pure and beautiful.

Kiefer

Great day out!     12/30/2010 07:13
Good to get out witcha again Ben. It's been far too long. Hopefully, we won't make this whole 1-2x a year thing permenent. Pictures are great! We do make a pretty dam good team to boot!
”...nighttime deproach”- sounds sexual and sinister at the same time

Carl,
Not sure about AT gear now. I just got hit yesterday with some massively expensive dental work.

Hey Benners!     01/02/2011 03:50
Good to see you're at it, let's get out soon. Love the pic from the summit looking southwest (with the sun-dogs). Kiefer, nicely done.

Looks like you got another new pair of boots... did you have to pause and take them off along the way?

Congrats to both of you!     01/02/2011 22:00

Thanks for the comments all!

Kiefer - I agree, thanks man for an awesome day!

Tripper - Good luck on your first!

Carl - Not worried about destroying the boards, just interested in giving the new setup a test drive.

Matt - They're actually the old boots, and yes I did as a matter of fact remove one of them in customary fashion to fix a hot spot but I made sure to do it below treeline .
