 Torreys-Grays regular combo

Started on the trailhead by 0457. Followed the easily identifiable trail up to a fork about half way up the ridge and went right up to Torreys first. Going right lets you go up steeper but allows you to run down because the trail to Grays is steeper. Got about 3/4 up to Torreys by the time the sun started to rise.
I then proceeded to the summit of Torreys. It was very windy which made an otherwise very enjoyable day very very cold.
After about 20 minutes on the summit I headed off down the saddle between the two peaks and made my way over to Grays.
The saddle did not take very long, a very enjoyable hike. Spent about 15 minutes at the summit.
I ran back down from Grays and got back to my car by 0912. Roundtrip time about 4 hr 15 min
