 Elbert - South Ridge

It was definitely a beautiful hike starting off with a pretty steep ascent from the beginning part of the 4wd trailhead going up towards treeline and starting the flatten off around 11,400. After that pretty steady to about 12,500 and then tackling the next somewhat steep part to about 13,200 and then easing off until about 13,800. After that the last push up to the summit was a little difficult due to the last somewhat steep push and being above 14,000 feet for most of it, but overall great hike (and awesome views on the last push towards La Plata).
