 Holy Cross, std route

I had posted a message looking for a hiking partner to climb Holy Cross but no one responded. Taking a chance that others would be hiking I went to the trailhead, arriving about 6:15am. Fortunately two different groups came up not long after I arrived. I was able to tag along with two guys, Nathan and Rick, both younger than me. Thanks, N&R, if you read this; hope I didn't slow you down going up. We left the Tigiwon trailhead at about 6:40 am and got to the summit at about 9:50 am. Above the tree line it snowed and sleeted constantly till we were back below tree line again, sometimes quite heavily. It was just above freezing on the summit. All three of us had numb fingers. I just had some liner gloves and my fingers were as cold as they have ever been in my life. Unfortunately, no views from the summit. N&R downhilled a good bit faster than me and by the time I got there they were long gone. My round trip time was 6:35.
