What a wonderful trip! Colorado consistently blows me away with its beauty and magnitude. Mt. Democrat was my favorite of the day, just a dominating summit overlooking Mt. Quandary. Mt. Cameron was a humble climb and just before Mt. Lincoln. Windy all the way in the saddle until the summit was reached, then it was lovely! So warm. Lastly, Mt. Bross, simple climb to the summit, long saddle in between Mt. Lincoln and Mt. Bross. But, Bross sneaks up on you in the descent. Careful of the rock, it will follow you down as you move your feet. I was told by an experienced climber, that poles on this type of descent were super beneficial. (And it appeared so). But, I made it and it was a marvelous day! Totally time without breaks was about 5hr15mins.
