All Routes Closed except NE Face

Volunteers are doing work on West Ridge Route and they have that side of the Summit Lake Parking Lot closed off. Ranger also said the Summit Lake Trail which gives access to the bowl is also Closed for Conservation. This only leaves the steep Route up the NE Face as the only way up. Maybe someone can post the schedule for work on the trail? There was nothing on the MT Evans website.

Why couldn‘t a person do the Guanell pass route?

Thought others needed to be warned of the closures. Good point on the Guanella Pass Route and the Saw Tooth Route, neither would be effected by the work at Summit Lake.

alpinefan: Is the road to the summit / peak parking lot still open (where the remains of the Crest house are?)

Its the Routes that go through or start at Summit Lake that are affected by the Volunteer Trail Work going on. Not sure how long the Trail Work is going to last - maybe someone can post an update?
