It was a fun day hiking on Grays.
Time up 3:15
Time down 2:45
We woke up at 3:00am and got ready to leave. When we started,it was 5:45am. Here is a pic from the start of the trail.
Later on,we crossed a few streams, they were about 3 inches at their deepest, unless you went a ways off. Near the rocks was a HUGE cairn.
A little ways away is the rocky path,a difficult class 2 slightly slanted wall with a path that is very rocky.
Near the top, I decided to do some rock scrambling because we lost the trail .
Less than 1/2 a mile later,I had summitted my first 14er of the year!
Yellow trail, red parking lot
On the way down,we saw a mountain caterpillar !
At the end,we got a few pics
