Mt. Sherman standard up, snow down

please see my trip report on the following site:
http://outofmymindseye.blogspot.com/2010/04/mt-sherman-trip-report.html

I forgot to add, the trailhead is drivable with AWD until about a half mile to a mile from the Leavick site, depending on how comfortable you are driving on snow.

You may want to highlight your URL and hit the URL button so there is a link. If you get to the report, it is actually pretty good and does not warrent a 1 star. Congrats on the summit....It was a great day (I was over on Horseshoe).

Congrats on a good day. Looked like perfect weather!
Just a quick comment - while the snowpack definitely stabilizes more this time of year, don‘t just assume that a snow route is ”safe” b/c you see ski tracks on it. A lot of the people that ski 14ers make good decisions and evaluate conditions well, but not everyone does!

Dcbates80911: Thanks for the tip on how to make it a URL! (and for the kind words on the TR)

JakeK: Thanks for the advice. I was following the standard snow route down, and the snow seemed very stable; my comment on avalanche danger (as most of the report) was written tongue in cheek, but I‘m afraid it might not be obvious that that is the case.
