Quick pics of Grizzly and Sniktau

Grizzly Peak / Sniktau

Quick overview of conditions on 10/31/09. There were snow drifts, but most of the way was on solid snow. Except for the shady side of Grizzly, didn't posthole much past the ankles or calf. The snow over to Sniktau was as good as I have seen it, almost no postholing.

On the ridge, heading up to point 13,177' (Cupid) toward Grizzly, looking back on the route down from point 12,915'.

Parking at Loveland

No problems with me parking, but when I got back, they were towing cars that had parked outside the signs. I have heard that they will get people who are there prior to 7am, but don‘t know firsthand.

Good job! I just did Sniktau Sat. and Grizzly in Dec. Seeing your photos is awesome to relive the moments. My Sniktau was mostly white out conditions, so to see clear day photos is great!

Hope to climb with you soon.
