 The Hardest Trip Yet

This was the last trip of the year for me. Though, my heart wants to do one more hike before winter completely sets in for the year. It was a solo day hike up these two hills. I was up at 2:30am to drive from Castle Rock to the site in my car. Glad the road was good. I arrived at the trail head at about 6:00 and was on the trail at 6:10. There were a few people leaving about the same time. I was nervous and excited for the adventure.

The hiking was excellent with perfect skies. I felt safe because it seemed that everyone on the hike were season professionals. These people seemed to offer more comfort than hiking with some of my friends.

Anyway, wanted to put a trip report on here. It is a little updated, but wanted to share.
