Longs Peak - Northwest Couloir Ascent & Cables Descent

A report covering an ascent via the Northwest Couloir and a descent via the Cables route.

Proper credit to Flying Magpie and Alby426 for planting the idea to ascend via a less travelled route. Great way for folks with multiple summits of Longs to take a buddy up Longs and avoid the crowds for at least part of the route.

No snow or ice on route at present.

Report (albeit too similar to prior reports on this route ) with photos may be found at http://www.climbingwithbob.com/colorado/rmnp/nwcouloir.html
