Kevin, nice loop, too bad you couldn‘t include Chiefs Head. Thats an exciting arete and a fun route up Arrowhead. I loved the view of it from the trail to Black Lake.

I was climbing McHenry‘s lonely neighbor to the South, Alice, with hopes of combining Chief‘s Head via its West Ridge, but those clouds made me anxious. You and Glacier Gorge must‘ve received the brunt of the storm, cause I heard only one loud crack of thunder around Wild Basin. Rocky Mountain is deemed a nat‘l park for a reason, good stuff.

of mountains that are near the top of my list. I like that second photo up the slabs. The entire route looks like some great scrambling and not too difficult. Thanks for the report - it‘s a good one and it‘s much appreciated.
