Great work; great report.

Good job you two. Ellingwood Ledges is one of the coolest lines that I‘ve had the oppurtunity to climb (though I‘m told by Crestone knob-climbing veterans that The Prow is way better). Awesome rope too!

we were down there yesterday and today (music pass today actually), for some nonstop scrambling. Nice work man, thats an incredible route on an iconic, mesmerizing mountain.

Great TR! After being up there a couple weeks ago, and just starting to get into alpine trad, I‘m dying to get up there and hit this route! Now I just need to find someone with some more experience, willing to take me under his/her wing!

Nice Ben, fun route huh. Your jog left on the final direct start pitch is actually what I saw three other parties do there. Jordan and I stayed in the book, which required navigating that wierd wet dihedral. Looks like similar quality climbing either way. Nice Report.

My Neon Bright Rope!

Yeah, a few comments on my neon rope! It‘s my 80m ice rope (a 9.1mm Sterling Nano) that I bought for long ice routes. A longer rope means fewer belays...like, who wants to fiddle with a belay at -10, no?? Actually it was the only decent light alpine rope I had laying around...

Anyway, Ben‘s a great guy and a super partner. We had a great time and I highly recommend the route...but only with a neon rope!

Looks like fun. I‘m looking forward to checking that route out sometime. That‘s a pretty fancy rope you‘ve got in your quiver Tom. Hope you made Ben carry it .
