We drove straight thru from Michigan and decided that the family needed to spend some time in elevation before doing a real climb.
So we drove up Mt Evans, and parked in the parking lot and did the short climb to the top. My oldest 5yrs old was excited she climbed it by herself.
As you can see we had animal company on that moring. Good way to start our trip.

I am sorry that jdesignedit feels the need to write rude comments on people's trip reports. The reason to climb is to be outside with the family enjoying what the Lord has made.
You did not climb the peak, so I hope you did not sign the register that you were holding in the photos!
