 The Princeton Review

10 hour ski decent, stuck car and 5 hour tow truck ordeal, and getting arrested in Leadville. What a day.

If you can find my registration in the Princeton parking lot and let me know I would be very appreciative.

too much time on their hands, not enough action, not enough intelligence, abusing their power, etc.

Sweet ski descent by the way.

Exhaustion     2009-04-13 12:57:46
You know, it has been proven that exhaustion looks alot like being drunk and driving while excessivly tired is about as dangerous (though not illegal). Leadville has a huge drug and alcohol problem right now too. Besides giving up 45 minutes to pee in a cup saved you the speeding ticket. Great report, sorry it was such an expensive trip for you. Better luck on the next one.

thanks     2009-04-13 18:34:00
bjohnson- thanks! If I didn‘t make it to the top after all that i‘d be bitter.

lordhelmut- yeah, there were three cop cars pulled over for me at one point, clearly showing they have way too much time on their hands. and thanks. i‘d been eyeing this line for 3 years now so it was nice to finally ski it.

CO Native- the cops didn‘t think i was drunk, they thought i had been blazin‘ the gonja as a little stress relief or something. I guess i had green blisters on my tongue which, as the cops said, is not from dehydration and can only be from marijuana. they were stumped as to what could cause it after the urine test though. the whole getting hand-cuffed for the first time thing woke me right up though so the rest of the drive went well. thanks though, and if i have to pay that much for every 14er i might have to stop the quest.
