 Unamed Peak 13,152ft

I had decided I needed a mountain sunrise so I opted for the easy route, my destination was Unamed Point 13,152ft which is located just southwest of Sniktau of Loveland Pass. After leaving the car 48 minutes ago I arrived at my destination, with a numb face and frozen digits I wondered what the hell was I doing but those thoughts disappeared as soon as the sky became to come alive.

Looking east towards the front range.

Looking south towards Torreys and Grays.

Here comes the sun....

Great shots!
Thanks for posting them.
I‘ll be up that way this weekend, but I won‘t be getting shots like these.

You have some good candidates for the photo contest next winter, but you might have a hard time picking just one to submit. For my money, I like the first photo of Sniktau the best.

What amazing pictures!!!! What kind of camera are you using? I‘ve just ordered a Canon G10...I‘m hoping for the same caliber of shots. Bravo!

Incredible photos!! I love the ones looking south towards Grays and Torreys, they show such amazing texture in the snow fields!! I don‘t suppose I could talk you into some full-size copies via email? I‘d love to have a few for my desktop!
