NOAA doesn‘t always know what they re doing.

A friend and I climbed Mount Harvard Saturday. Our original intent was simply to hike to Kroenke Lake. The forecast was calling for 40mph winds so we wanted to stay low out of the strong winds. It ended up being a perfect weather day and we ended up on the summit of Mount Harvard. Unfortuantely a late start meant we hiked out in the dark.

Shouldn‘t you be working?     11/17/2008 20:36
Looks like a beautiful day. Glad the weather worked out for you. Another great report. I wasn‘t really surprised to see that it showed up in the middle of a work day!

Wanna be a weatherman!     11/18/2008 02:51
What‘s a guy got to do to be a weatherman?
I think the wind gusted to 10 mph at 13k on Saturday.
