 Skiing on Castle!!

I drove up to Montezuma Basin Monday evening, and camped out on the switchbacks up in the basin, and was greated by a beautiful morning. I hiked up at around 8 to the lower snow field, and ran into my ski buddy for the day, Chris, and we and his dog went up to the upper basin and skied all day long. It was epic.

We never even though about going for the top, cause we've bith been there, and the snow is that good.

I wanna go back and get the big main chute from top to bottom. If anyone wants to go let me know.

Has anyone been back up since Chris‘s report? I was wondering if montezuma would still be skiable this coming weekend?

Wesley did you and your wife end up going this past monday?

Great pics and excellent timing for the TR. I‘m heading to Aspen in the morning and skiing montezuma Monday with the wife. Planning to drive up as far as possible. PM if you want to meet up.
