 Combination - Democrat, Lincoln, Bross

Me and a two other people thought it would be fun to tackle the "three mountain" area of Democrat/Lincoln/Bross on an off Friday from work.

We started the hike at about 7:00 am from Kite Lake. It was a little chilly and cloudy near some of the peaks so pictures will be a little lacking. This shows a shot from part of the way up Democrat.

This is a snowfield we had to stop in and play for a little bit just because it is nice to throw some snowballs in August.

The summit sign...

We left the summit around 9:15 and headed to Cameron. Here is a quick pick of how cloudy/foggy it was near Cameron.

We passed Cameron at about 10:30 and headed on to Licoln.

We reached the summit of Lincoln at about 11:00 am.

Now on to Bross on the back side of Cameron where we came across a truck stuck at ~13,700 ft. The side of the truck tells it all.

We reached the summit of Bross at about 12:00 and then headed back down to Kite Lake.

On the way down the waterfall was in full form and it was very beautiful.

We finished our hike near 1 pm.

Too bad about the foggy pics, you did pretty good though under the circumstances. I like the truck pic.

always makes it interesting... i did that loop a few weeks ago and there was an Isuzu Trooper parked along the saddle between Cameron and Bross (it was there for over a week, saw pics in a previous trip report from one unhappy hiker). Seeing the "if you put it in we'll pull it out" on the side of the truck makes me think a little.
looks like you enjoyed it, good summitting to you.

it‘s not everyday you see a recovery vehicle in need of recovery.
