That is my group in your stream crossing photo, and I believe you and I chatted about Lake City on the way up Bierstadt.

Nice piece of writing, well done! Great photos, too! I was wavering on heading up that same route on my vacation in a few weeks, worried about crowds. You helped make my decision. . .I‘ll be on that trail before sunrise!

I am doing this hike tomorrow and your pics and story made the scramble and ledge traverse a lot easier in my mind. I can actually go to sleep now, thanks! Hope your leg healed nicely.
