Hit the trail at 7:00 this morning. The Willows were slightly muddy at this time, but not terrible. Once heading up, small patches of ice. After a good fall, utilized the trekking poles and did well. A couple of snowfields, but went around them. Once to the boulder field, there is one snowfield, but can easily get up through the boulder field to the top. Hit the summit at 9:30.
On the way down, it had gotten warmer. The ice patches that had terrorized me on the way up, melted at this point. The Willows though, one sloppy mess. Back at car at 11:30.
Good trip. No issues. Extremely doable. This was my first 14er and I went at it alone without much of a hitch
