The Steep Upper Face:
The fresh 12"+ of snow made the upper face a bit sporty!
Andy Likes Big Skis:
A perfectly calm summit:
Do we have to leave? What's that you say, we get to play with ropes? Well, alright let's go.
A large rock provided ample support for the 95' rappel:
Pack that BS, its time to ski !
Steeper than expected:
Jordan cuts the slope:
Fresh 16" of wintry snow. This has got to be a dream?
Rolls over a bit:
Does a funnel come to mind?
Andy rips the steep pow…
Please don't wake me up.
(JCWhite, Adminnen. JCWhite)
Jordan gettin' his:
Umm, does this go through?
It chokes out a bit… where to go from here?
Well, lets follow the snow, it probably knows…

…to Lavender Col
Jordan busts some crust on the ski down into Yankee Boy Basin. Birthday chutes behind, our ascent route:
The overhanging area on the shelf road was a bit sketchy. As we skied up to it, we watched a huge piece of ice fall onto the road. Safe to say we trucked through this pretty quickly making sure not to walk under any of the ice.
Sorry for all the images, there were so many good ones I didn't put in! One doesnt often get so lucky on a deep powder descent of a 14er.
