Holy Cross - Standard Route - Brrrrrrr

Start Time: 8:30AM
Summit Time: 12:50PM
End Time: 5:00PM
Who: Jeff and Rachel

An alpine start didn‘t seem all that useful on this trip. It rained all morning and the forecast was for "showers mostly before noon". We opted to give it a little time and aim for the alleged afternoon sunshine.

It was a cold day to be up at 14K. Sometimes you have to say the hell with it and hike in the rain!

Neither rain, nor wind, nor snow!

Cheers

you have some really pretty aspen photos mixed in there. I like the muted colors brought out on a cloudy day.
